Painted Purple Turtle Creative Social Events are designed to be easy, welcoming, and fun—whether you’re crafting solo, with friends, or trying something new for the first time. Here’s what to expect when joining one of our studio workshops.

Step 1: Explore the Schedule

Begin by browsing our Calendar of Events, where you’ll find upcoming Creative Social Events and specialty workshops. Events are offered at two studio locations, so be sure to review the schedule for your preferred location. Most workshops last approximately 2.5 hours, allowing plenty of time to create and enjoy the experience.

Step 2: Pick Your Event

Select the workshop you’d like to attend. We release new projects monthly, and newly released workshops may be offered at a seasonal or introductory discounted price. Creative Social Events are generally open to all ages unless otherwise noted.

Advance registration is required, as many projects need preparation before the event. If you’re attending with friends, each guest must register individually to ensure we prepare the correct materials. Projects are not shared unless clearly stated in the event description.

Step 3: Review & Personalize Your Project

Before checkout, carefully review the event description and project details. Some projects offer personalization options, such as names or custom elements, which must be entered during registration.

Depending on the event and project, you may choose one of the following options:

• Create your project in the studio during the scheduled event
• Take your project home as a DIY kit
• Upgrade to a ready-to-display finished piece, completed by our team (additional fees may apply)

All supplies and guided instruction are provided for every option.

Step 4: Add to Cart & Save Your Spot

Once you’ve selected your event and completed any required details, add the workshop to your cart and proceed to checkout. Your registration secures your seat for the event.

Please note that all registrations are final. We do not offer refunds; however, if you are unable to attend your scheduled event, you will receive store credit valid for 6 months, which may be used during an Open Studio session to complete your project.

For take-home kits or ready-to-display upgrades, our team will follow up via email within 48 hours after checkout to coordinate next steps.
